Pipelife PPRC pipes and auxiliary parts require less insulation compared to their competitors under the same operating conditions. Under normal conditions, it is not necessary to use an additional insulation material for PIPELIFE products indoors. Especially PN 20 pipes require much less insulation with their wall thicknesses.
However, insulation may be needed during installation due to unheated indoor environments or some environmental conditions. In operating conditions below 5°C, especially below 0°, cold water pipes should be insulated against the risk of freezing, and hot water pipes against heat loss.
